Greg Boone

Greg Boone
Hearing Aid Dispenser, Lic. No. 7336

Greg Boone's passion for helping the hearing impaired stems from his own experience of hearing loss. Throughout his life he has worked with loud machinery, listened to music with the volume too high for too long, and played electric guitar in a garage band - all contributing factors to the hearing loss and tinnitus that give him a profound insight into the experiences of his patients.

Greg wears hearing aids full time, and personally tests new devices before recommending them. His hearing loss allows him to understand on a practical level how adjustments to each hearing aid will affect the quality of sound for the wearer - and to relate to what his patients are going through.

He is licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board to see if one might be a candidate for hearing aids and fit and program hearing aids. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about the latest hearing aid instrumentation, including state-of-the-art digital devices.

Greg still plays the guitar (acoustic, not electric) and is learning to play the ukulele. He is an advocate for hearing protection.
